Changelog

Closed-beta scope is the v0.9 release gate. This page is a draft until v0.9.0 is tagged. Public 1.0 has not shipped. Installers are handed to testers; this site does not host them yet.

Experience

• Mac: after VFS Ready, Finder opens by default (Settings › File sharing can turn this off).
• Device cards show the share folder name and mount point (Finder / Explorer).
• Changing the share folder refreshes Finder / Explorer and notifies the peer.
• Bluetooth nearfield is off by default; testers can enable it in Settings › Nearby files.

Distribution

• Version string is 0.9.0 closed beta (About box is no longer a fake 1.0 preview).
• Windows: Explorer mount uses the system cloud files API. No extra driver.
• Packaging scripts exist for a Developer ID dmg and a Windows self-contained folder. Notarized public downloads are not on this site yet.

Website honesty

• This site no longer claims a shipped 1.0 or links Download to #.
• File encryption is QUIC / TLS 1.3, not DTLS.
• Signaling (TCP) and a UDP relay are part of the product. Files are not stored on those servers.

Known limits

• Bluetooth nearfield QA is not signed off on two machines; ordinary users do not see the entry.
• WAN Push, shared keyboard/mouse, Linux, and mobile are not in this version.
